Dr. Arra Apikian is originally from Los Angeles, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge, before obtaining his doctorate from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Apikian underwent extensive clinical training at Orlando VA Medical Center and Major General William H. Gourley VA, where he developed expertise in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and dry eyes. Additionally, he is proficient in various types of contact lens fitting. Outside of his professional duties, Dr. Apikian leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as working out, hiking, and traveling. He also has a passion for cooking and cherishes spending time with his loved ones. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Armenian, Dr. Apikian's multicultural background enriches his ability to connect with patients from diverse communities.

Optometrists can diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, disorders, and injuries of the eye and related structures, as well as address systemic conditions that can affect the eyes.
